Applications are invited by duly qualified candidates for admission to the professional Postgraduate programs of Ilorin Business School of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) for the academic session 2017/2018.

The duration of the program will normally be a minimum of six (6) semesters and a maximum period of ten (10) semesters. Students will attend classes on Saturdays and Sundays. They are also expected to come for two (2) weeks during long vacations for intensive academic work. Areas of expertise available include Accounting, Marketing, Personnel Management, Finance, General Management and Operations Management.
Master in Business Administration (MBA)
The duration of the program will normally have a minimum duration of 24 natural months and a maximum period of 36 natural full-time months, And a minimum period of 36 calendar months and a maximum period of 48 calendar months for part-time. Areas of expertise include accounting, marketing, personnel, finance, general management and operations management.
Master in Geographic Information Systems (MGIS)
The duration of the program will normally be of a minimum duration of 18 natural months and a maximum period of 24 natural months. This program is available ONLY full-time.
Master in Public Administration (MPA)
The duration of the programme shall normally be for a minimum period of 18 calendar months and a maximum period of 24 calendar months. Areas of specialization include Public Finance, Budgeting, Personnel Management, Public Policy and Development Administration. This programme is available on Full-Time basis ONLY.
Master in Health Planning and Management (MHPM),
The duration of the programme shall be a minimum of 12 calendar months and a maximum of 24 calendar months.
Postgraduate Diploma in Geographic Information Systems (PGDGIS)
The duration of the programme shall normally be a minimum period of 12 calendar months and a maximum period of 18 calendar months. This programme is available on Full-time basis ONLY.
Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management (PGDSM)
The duration of the programme shall normally be a minimum of 12 calendar months and a maximum of 18 calendar months. This programme is available on Full-Time basis ONLY.
Professional Master in Information Technology (MIT)

Master in Business Administration (MBA)
Candidates for admission into the Ilorin Business School MBA Programme shall normally possess Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University, with a minimum of Second Class Honours (Lower Division). Holders of professional qualifications such as ACA, ACMA AIB ACIS, CIBN, ACTS or HND(Upper Credit) must possess a postgraduate Diploma Certificate in Strategic Management from the University of Ilorin with a Minimum average weighted score of 60%. All candidates should have at least Five (5) Credit Passes at the Ordinary Level (O/L), Including English Language and Mathematics irrespective of the field of study.
Master in Geographic Information Systems (MGIS)
Candidates for admission into the MGIS Programme shall normally possess Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University,. Holders of professional qualifications such as HND with a minimum of five (3) years post –qualification experience are also eligible to apply.
Master in Industrial and Labour Relations (MILR)
Candidates for admission into the MILR degree Programme shall normally possess a honours degree of the University of Ilorin, or from any other recognized University.
Master in Public Administration (MPA)
Candidates for admission into the MPA degree Programme shall normally possess a minimum of Third Class Honours in any discipline from the University of Ilorin, or any other recognized University.
Master in Health Planning and Management (MHPM),
A candidate to be admitted shall:
(a) Hold an honours first degree in Health Planning and Management, or related field, OR Have an honours degree in a discipline other than Health Planning and Management, plus at least 3 years experience in Health Planning, Research and Statistics or other relevant Departments after graduation, OR Hold an honours first degree in other discipline, but must in addition, possess postgraduate certificate or Diploma in Health Planning and Management or related fields from recognized Institutions; OR a pass degree in Health Planning and Management or related discipline, plus 3 years experience OR any other qualification approved by Senate of the University.
(b). A minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division in any of the above. In addition, all candidates must have O’ level credits in English and Mathematics.
Postgraduate Diploma in Geographic Information Systems (PGDGIS)
Candidates for admission into the Ilorin Business School GIS postgraduate diploma Programme shall normally possess a recognized Bachelor’s Degree with at least a Third Class Honours or HND or their equivalent, in Geography, Environmental Science, the Sciences, other Social Science, Forestry, Engineering, Architecture, Town Planning etc. Notwithstanding the above, the candidate with substantial work experience who have attained managerial positions may still be considered for admission on individual merit.
Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management (PGDSM)
Candidates for admission into the PGDSM shall normally possess Bachelor’s degree or a professional qualification such as ICAN or HND certificate with a minimum of Lower Credit from recognized Institutions.
Professional Master in Information Technology (MIT)
All candidates applying for this programme must possess the following:
A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field, with a Third Class and a minimum of 1-year IT-related working experience, or

UNIILORIN BUSINESS SCHOOL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR PROFESSION POSTGRADUATE COURSES (ELIGIBILITY)

- A Bachelor Degree with a Third Class in any field of study with a minimum of 5 years IT-related working experience which may involve planning, development, operation and maintenance of Information Systems.
