Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB Announces 2017/2018 Admission Deadline For all Universities, Polytechnic, College of Education.
The examination body demands total compliance. All Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges have been informed that they should not conduct admission for the 2017/2018 academic session beyond this set date.
The deadline for completion of admission for the 2017/2018 session was made known while JAMB was announcing the JAMB Cut-off mark for admission for 2017/2018. You would recall that the Federal Government has lifted the ban on Post-UTME screening. Therefore, schools now conduct Post-UTME screening as written exams like before.
According to JAMB, admissions into public degree awarding institutions for the 2017 UTME examination will end on January 15, 2018, while for private institutions, it ends on January 31, 2018.

The deadline for the 2017/2018 Admission exercise is January 31, 2018. JAMB implored institutions not to exceed this date and their admission quota as there will be penalties for defaulting institutions.According to JAMB, admissions into public degree awarding institutions for the 2017 UTME examination will end on January 15, 2018, while for private institutions, it ends on January 31, 2018.
