INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF PRINCIPAL OFFICERS: BURSAR AND LIBRARIAN
1. POSITION: BURSAR
The position of Bursar is a statutory position on tenure appointment for 5years in the first instance and may be renewed for another 5 years term and no more.
a. DUTIES
The Bursar shall be the Chief Financial Officer of the College and is responsible to the Provost for the day to day administration and control of the financial affairs of the College.
b. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Candidate must possess a good honours degree, HND or its equivalent in Accountancy or Finance from a recognized institution of Higher learning with at least 21 years cognate experience. Candidates must also show evidence of membership of relevant professional Accounting body(s), including evidence of attendance of a continuous mandatory professional development course.
2. POSITION: COLLEGE LIBRARIAN
The College Librarian is a statutory position on tenure appointment for 5years in the first instance which may be renewed for another 5 years term.
a. DUTIES
The College Librarian shall be responsible to the Provost for the Administration of the College Library and coordination of Library services in the teaching units of the institution.
b. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Candidates must possess Masters Degree in Library Science (MLS) from a recognized institution of Higher learning with at least 18years cognate experience. Candidates must produce relevant publication in journals and textbooks equivalent to that of a chief lecturer plus evidence of registration with professional body(s). Possession of Ph.D will be an added advantage.
