Prof Abdullahi Zuru the Vice Chancellor of the institution disclose this in Sokoto on Saturday but has refused to mention details of the affected lecturer. He said the drastic measure was taken to serve as a warning to others.
He also said that the University has no fewer than 30,000 students and guidelines has been given to them to follow as they will not compromise the set standards.
